I cleared the Google Cloud Certified Professional Architect exam recently and thought I’d share my experience on the preparation for the exam and the actual exam itself.
Preparing for the exam was more of a journey than a point in time cram-and- sit-for-the-test approach. I had to reschedule the exam at one time, when I realized how unprepared I was. I’m also certified as an AWS Solution Architect- Associate and studying for this was a very different experience.
Here are some of the important things to remember while preparing:
Imagine it’s a warm day. You arrive home and set the thermostat to 18 degrees Celsius. Your air-conditioning unit kicks in and starts adjusting the temperature to reach the desired temperature. If you examine what you just did, you set the desired state in terms of specifying a temperature. The air-conditioning unit then observed that a state change was required and it’s controller started taking the necessary actions to bring down the temperature to the desired state.
